Calligraphy engraving is the process of using a hand-held micro drill to delicately etch the surface of an item. Items can be customized in a matter of minutes, and results in a beautiful, permanent customization that can withstand everyday use.
While hand-engraving is most popular for application on glass, other surfaces such as metals, acrylics, porcelain or ceramic surfaces, and softer stones, such as marble also produce beautiful results.
Engraving is also possible for frosted glass, coated metals, and some mirrored surfaces.
Debossing is the process of applying a free-hand design by applying controlled pressure with a heated tool. The impression left behind on the surface is subtle, but stunning (and permanent).
Genuine leather is the ideal surface for debossing, making this services perfect for high-end customizations on watch bands, belts, bags, wallets, journals, and more.
Similar to leather debossing, hand-foiled designs also require controlled application of the design using a foil sheet and a pyrography tool. This process produces an extremely high-end finish that is both gorgeous and permanent.
Ideal surfaces for hot foiling include genuine and vegan leather, as well as textiles, including silk, cotton, and more.
Cat was on my team for a mother's day live calligraphy event for a luxury brand. Her calligraphy is beautiful and the clients were delighted with her work. Cat is a pleasure to work with and I definitely recommend hiring her for your next event!
